I know, right? [May. 29th, 2006|11:02 pm]
Keep Saying That!

In the past several months—maybe even longer than that—I've noticed that I've taken on using the phrase "I know, right?" as a means of saying, "I agree. And my emotions are slightly higher than normal because of this realization." (Or something along those lines.)

I expect this phrase to go the way of the dodo eventually, but what's everyone else saying for the time being as their personal phrase-fad?

I don't know what phrase, if any, has been showing up excessively in my speach, but I've been noticing that phrase you mention for the past year or so, and it confuses me. It also annoys me a bit. Not to say you shouldn't use it, those are just my feelings.

I am quick to admit that "I know, right?" is kinda annoying. I'm not proud of saying it ... (but maybe a little bit I am).

recently, I've been told to stop saying "yea, no" as a way to agree with a negative statement (as in "yea, no, I can't believe those two can't learn a different guitar riff with which to duel" or something). apparently it sounds a tad idiotic. I didn't realize I'd been saying it so much.
